Nice hike on a cold day
We were supposed to do the Alpine Crossing, but the shuttle was cancelled due to the conditions. That was a blessing since we weren't equipped for the snowy conditions. This walk also took place in the snow, but for about 3 miles and not on a mountain/volcano, it was much easier…

Good views from the track
Some really good views of the surrounding areas from the track - especially the mountainous peaks which are still covered in snow. The waterfall itself is a bit disappointing but still pretty.

Great walk
The falls were an amazing walk through the bush. I did this on a very miserable day but it did not dampen the experience. The falls were awesome. It was incredibly windy half way when you walked across the straight without the bush.
