I wanted to visit this place for a loooooong time. You need to pay extra to enter the Vlad's room and it's like a small horror house. I enjoyed the crepe there.

As previous comments have noted, it was two rooms adjunct to a restaurant (which I didn't try), basically redesigned to be an immensely campy horror house complete with a fake corpse in the coffin which jumps up at you suddenly, as well as a gigantic...More

Vlad's birthplace ! The house where Vlad spent in the early years of his life, near the clock tower. It has now been converted to a restaurant.

This place, which houses a "torture museum" as well as an over-priced restaurant, relies upon the fact that the 15th century soldier and ruler Vlad Dracula ("Dracula" meaning "Son of Dracul", itself a reference to the dragon decoration his father was awarded for bravery) was...More

This is truly tacky but for 5 Lei, what the heck, give it a go! A few cheap tricks, laughs and an open coffin. Vlad must have been on vacation or out looking for tourist's necks, because when I visited the coffin, it was empty!...More

I guess it's a necessary stop when exploring the whole Vlad/Dracula myth, and i can't say i'm sorry I visited ... especially since it's only 5 lei. If the claims that Vlad was born and lived here for 4 years are true (I would like...More

Really poor, cheaply kitted out, kind of disrespectful of Vlad the Impaler's memory. They try to make it scary but fail miserably. Spend your money on something more rewarding.
