Unlike most places in Sapa Hieu was not pushy, he was friendly and welcoming. While there he taught us how to carve our own sculptures. After looking at his own intricate carvings we also bought a lovely chess set. I would highly recommend visiting.

Handmade limestone statues. I bought a full set as souvenirs. It's a really handcrafted present which is unfortunately not often found these days. The owner is very nice. He engraved the date on the little statues and offered us tea. Can highly recommend it!
