We walked 20 minutes to the Sa Pa market. Masses of stalls selling traditional costumes and embroidered items. Very few shoppers and many women in traditional dress, many working sewing machines. A 100 m walk down one of the streets in the town is more...More

The market is small and the locals sells just a few things there so it is just a place to have a walk and see, we purchased nothing, just some fruits to bring back to our hotel ;-)

Nothing really fantastic about the market. Most of the stalls are selling the same stuff. If you go up to the 2nd floor, will see a group of H'mong ladies sewing and selling their ethnic fabrics products.
