My husband and I took the Tracy Arm cruise to the south Sawyer Glacier aboard the Captain Cook boat on Sept. 16, 2018. We will never forget this wonderful experience. The crew was Allyssa, I believe Trig was the captains name(not sure), Debbie, John and...More

On our fervent cruise due to a medical emergency we cut short our visit to the glacier itself but the short trip up Tracy fjord was. Inethe less beautiful. We hope up go back again and finish this fantastic voyage

I can't even describe the beauty of the trip, so I'll describe the staff. Well mannered, well informed, fun, helpful, trustworthy, easy to get along with, incredible overall. The Alaskan cruise was the most wonderful and beautiful trips I’ve ever encountered! It’s a trip that everyone needs to take! I would go again because you can’t see all the untouched beauty that Alaska has in one trip!

We sailed with Capt. Steve on the Capt. Cook boat along with deckhands Eric and John. The boat is a 65' converted "head boat" and is perfect for getting up really close to the glacier. The boat affords you excellent photo opportunities because you can...More

We really enjoyed the trip. Steve is an experienced captain, takes his time to find nice stuff (waterfalls, seals...) and knows how to maneuver around icebergs. On our trip we were also lucky to see some spectacular calving of the glacier. The boat is nice...More

The journey to the Sawyer glacier was as glorious as the arrival. Blue ice floating in the fjord resembled sapphires in the sea. We lucked into weather that provided optimal viewing and the captain, Alisa, maneuvered expertly. The boat is comfortable, the staff informed, the...More
