This little library is fantastic. A great variety of books and some for sale for 25 cents!! Well worth a visit and the WIFI is free. A donation is suggested and well worth it.

Moving to Haines. Went there twice to use internet. Staff friendly and informative. They have a wonderful "free" collection and large assortment of movies.

Great place to chill out, read, and enjoy the common areas in a beautiful building amidst wonderful art. At Christmas it was decorated as if a private home. Just wonderful for such a small town,

If you ever find yourself in Haines, this library is worth a visit. Voted the best small town library in the U.S., it is not difficult to see why.

Short walk from cruise ship which was great. I wanted to use their computer to lookup some things. They have 15 minute maximum. If you bring your own device you can sit in library and use the wifi for free. Highly recommend bringing your own...More

If you just need to load up a text-based internet game from the mid 80's the library can hook you right up. If you need to load an actual web page or watch a video it would probably be faster to climb to the top...More

If you are in Hains , stopping from cruise or otherwise and looking for wifi, go to this beautiful library. It gives you free wifi with password "ilovebooks".This is 10 minutes walk from cruise, sourrounded by beautiful scenery. It has great book collection.
