The tram ride was smooth and had spectacular views. Visit Seven Glaciers restaurant at the top and you will not be disappointed! Everything about this experience was fantastic. (If you book a dinner reservation, you get free tram rides for each person on the reservation).

Recently visited the area. Took the tram to the top. Great views at the top. Enjoyed lunch also at the top. Worth doing if in the area. Hotel is also very nice. Saw 2 black bear cubs on way out. Pretty sure moma bear was...More

Visited in June....snow still on the hills so no hiking from the viewing platform/terminal. The views are nice, but not overwhelming. The 5 to 7 minute trip up the tram is alright....decent views, smooth ride....but again, not overwhelming. However, if you are staying at the...More

The tram up to Alyeska takes about 15 minutes and the views are stunning. At the top are a few different observation areas, a fine dining restaurant, and a casual deli. Maybe a little pricey if you are only going up to look around, but...More

Nice ride and hiking at the top of the mountain. Would have been 5 stars, but a little pricey. Maybe we should have taken the dine and ride option.

This is a spectacular view of a gorgeous area in the state of Alaska. At the top of the tram you get great views of glaciers and a glacier fed river. We enjoyed a lunch at the top and afterwards went down the tram to...More

We stopped here on our way to the Anchorage airport on the way back from our cruise. Tram comes every 15 minutes or so up and down the mountain so not a long wait. Purchased the dine and ride ticket for $39 and you get...More

Only reason we did this is because we had a BOGO coupon from our app (2 for $30). Rode it up, enjoyed the view up top, snapped some photos, then took it back down. I'd recommend going up a little hungry to have a meal...More

We ate at the restaurant (7 Glaciers) and rode the tram to the top. It was a quick ride but a nice view from the top. We saw a couple of moose on the way up. Fun but I probably wouldn't pay for it.

Hello -There is no regular transportation between Anchorage and Girdwood/Alyeska. Renting a car would probably be your best option and then you can stop along the way to enjoy the wonderful views along Turnagain Arm or... More

Hello - Yes they do close for a period at that time and that is the only tram in the Alyeska area. Likely for routine maintenance. If you can come sooner or later in the Spring or Summer it would be worth a trip though... More
