Pineapples, pineapples, pineapples! This road to Belvedere Viewpoint is gorgeous and worth the time to see the interior of Moorea. Very lush and inspiring on a sunny day!

During our 4x4 tour, we stopped along the road to admire the mountainous interior of Moorea and learn a little bit about the island's pineapple plantations. ! plant will produce 1 fruit each year, for 4 years, before requiring a year free of the plant...More

Like most things to do in Moorea this is free and makes a lovely drive through the mountains on a sunny day, the pineapple fields are great to see and it is worth taking a couple of hours to see them althou you coule rush...More

The pineapple is synonymous with Moorea and the pineapple plantations cover a considerable proportion of the island. At some of the tourist spots there are local people selling fruits and the pineapple was the best I have tasted.

We usually take friends through here once, as the "road" is rough and tough on the car springs! It is interesting to see the red soil in contrast to the green pineapples. From there we go to the Belverdere from which you get the best...More

This area has lots of cultivated tropical fruits - Pieapples, Papaya, zjackfruit, Soursop, Breadfruit, Guava and others.
