I live close to Parque la Sabana--and walk my dog there just about every morning. It is a well maintained urban park, with excellent security. We have not had a problem--for years--there are guards and police on foot, bikes, etc. We like it mucho.

The lakes and water features are all dried up. Many of the art and sculpture has been vandalized and not maintained. The park is pro trolled by security on horseback and arc.

I was staying across the street from the National Stadium and Parque La Sabana - took a walk around the park one morning and it was very pleasant - lots of sports fields and families out to enjoy the park. Nice place to get some fresh air and exercise.

If you want to spend some time outside, make exercise, take your children, spend time with family or friends, you can go to La Sabana. In dry season there's many dust around if it's a windy day, so you better carry your sunglasses.
