The Monteverde Chorotega Arts & Crafts is part of Historica Monteverde Museum. The history of the Monteverde Community is shared with visitors from around the world on a daily basis. The Chorotega Tribe has used ancient environmentally friendly techniques to create outstanding master pieces for over 4,000 years. These unique and beautiful creations are made on location right at this museum. This is the only location in the Monteverde community where you will learn about the indigenous culture and watch the master, Marcelo Oliveira, create amazing, original and ancient art with his own hands and rudimentary items. This is also the only place where you may purchase these master pieces created on site and directly support indigenous families.
