No matter your age, this is a great place to visit. Many hands on things to try. Your kiddos won’t be disappointed.

Our 5 year old grandson loved the museum. The hands on experience allowed him to use his full imagination. He especially liked the clubhouse and getting to play doctor. Make sure to check the calendar of events on their website. This can sometimes affect the...More

Took my 2 year old great-granddaughter for her first visit to C.H.O.M. yesterday and she loved it. Plenty of interactive activities and exhibits on the basement level for younger children, with more visual exhibits on the main level (she especially loved the vintage dolls). Entertained...More

CHOM is a great place to take childen when they are ready for an outing. There are many exhibits that have hands on play. Very inexpensive way to spend an entire morning or afternoon.More

This is a must do with young children in Tuscaloosa. They are constantly updating exhibits so it's worth a second trip later on. My kids love it!More

I would say 2-3 hours. There are places close by to grab a bite to eat when done.
