Great bars & food with plenty of choice to choose from. Easy to reach near to Hongqiao airport and great old colonial building which are converted into restaurants and pubs. It is very popular with locals and expa. Especially great for Friday night and weekends.

The bars can be pricey, but always good atmosphere, and good quality drinks. My favourite is the Shanghai brewery for its own micro-beers (IPA, Pils...) and its food is also very good (German sausages, pizzas probably come on top). The Big Bamboo has a bigger...More

Worth a visit to take a stroll and see the scenery. Easy to get to with good shopping nearby and lots of great restaurants of all fares (Persian, Greek, Italian, etc)
