A pedestrian-only tunnel crossing the Bund, this fun and unique form of public transportation is a pricey but quick way to get across the river on foot. The experience is a bit reminiscent of a Disney Tomorrowland attraction.

Great experience on a small train whilst watching a light show as you travel through. Colourful and quite inexpensive.

Was at Shanghai Bund to buy a combo return ticket for a visit to the Oriental Pearl Tower through the Bund Sightseeing Tunnel but was told by the ticket counter lady that the queuing time to ascend the tower was at least two hours. Not...More

We bought a return ticket in combination with a ticket for the 3d museum at the Bund tunnel and the Oriental Pearl Tower. You are carried with small glass sided unmanned rail cars under the Huangpu River. From the Bund to Pundong. Along the way...More

The Bund Tunnel has only one thing to see that is the changing lights. The soundtracks are not in sync and don't give any good appeal. Not recommended to specially see this.

If you’re trying to get across the river, you should try this at least once. It is like a psychedelic trip: changing colors, flashing lights, and an unusual soundtrack. I distinctly recall a clown popping out of nowhere mid-ride and a recording saying the words...More

1 point perhaps too much. Nothing much to see. Even your kids will be bored. Might be more interesting if it was a walk-thru tunnel. You could take a maglev ride instead.

Bund tunnel to cross river is nothing but fancy and flashy lights as you pass the tunnel. Nothing great but waste of money, there are better and cheap options to cross river than to take tunnel...

Not good attraction at all, a tunnel with lights and weird voices, but ok if you want to go to the other side of The Bund it’s a fast option.

While there are certainly many other “bunds” in the
world, “the Bund” refers to Shanghai’s famous
waterfront. The area’s Gothic, Art Deco and Beaux Arts
monoliths were built when it was part of the Shanghai

Americans. The atmosphere of colonial-era luxury has
endured over time and is now found in the five-star
