A pedestrian-only tunnel crossing the Bund, this fun and unique form of public transportation is a pricey but quick way to get across the river on foot. The experience is a bit reminiscent of a Disney Tomorrowland attraction.

After reading other reviews I wasn't expecting much and I wasn't disappointed. It's relatively expensive at RMB50 one way. I'm not sure why you'd buy the return for RMB70 because the Metro back is RMB3. You feel as though you're in for a special experience...More

I went there as I thought it'd be a "psychedelic trip in a futuristic rail car". I didn't know that it'd be a tiny, slow-moving can in a tunnel filled with cheap Christmas lights.

Certainly a mix of reviews but put me in the camp that this was a fun way to get across the river. It is a bit pricey but it is a tourist trap so it's expected. It's not something i would recommend seeking out but...More

The Bund Sight seeing tunnel sounds like you will see some history of how the Bund developed through the years. You pay 50 yuan for a one way ticket and 75 yuan for a return ticket. All you see is some very bad attempts to...More

Honestly I am not sure what all the negative fuss is all about! On a practical level this is a quick and easy way to get across the River (there are no walking options), and an alternative to a ferry and it’s entry near the...More

This experience was daylight robbery- nothing short of a disgrace. If you have ever been on a subway then this attraction will not be new to you. The basic premise is that you are in a painfully slow moving carriage with no seats, which goes...More

Enjoyed the break and accepted it for what it was. Thought it was reasonably priced and imaging our grandchildren would love it.

Save yourself the RMB 50 and take the ferry for RMB 2. This place is a joke and a tourist trap. If anything, make sure you are either stoned, high or drunk before the ride. Maybe you might get something out of it then...

As part of our 48 hours City Sightseeing HOHO Bus tour , we were entitled a free crossing of the river through the Bund Sightseeing Tunnel . We were not impressed at all when we crossed the tunnel but it got worse once we could...More

The tunnel train experience is not worth the money spent on it (CNY 50 one-way, CNY 70 return) but it is a pretty convenient way to cross the river, given the complete lack of pedestrian crossings / bridges over the Huangpu River in the Bund...More

The Bund
While there are certainly many other “bunds” in the
world, “the Bund” refers to Shanghai’s famous
waterfront. The area’s Gothic, Art Deco and Beaux Arts
monoliths were built when it was part of the Shanghai

Americans. The atmosphere of colonial-era luxury has
endured over time and is now found in the five-star
