Went there with no expectations and was blown away. It was right before Chinese New Year and the plants were just starting to bud. I am sure next month it will be great. Regardless it was still a beautiful and tranquil place in the city....More

This is a huge garden and you could spend about 1 1/2 hours here depending on how you go about it. Good for pictures and getting away from the busyness of the town if you want.

It is a nice garden, but nothing really exceptional to justify the long metro ride there. Took me 45 minutes from Xujiahui to Nanxiang on line 11. There is a very good playground inside for kids. To make it right, you should visit this garden...More

There were not many historical building but many trees and plants, which I loved so much. It is a relaxing place that worth spending time if you love plants like me.

Much bigger than Yuyuan Gardens. Some good examples of Ming and Qing style buildings. Lots of water and bridges. Took about 2 hours. Takes about 90 minutes from East Nanjing metro station for the train and 15minute walk to the garden.

Although it takes a little while to get there, it's is worth it. It's absolutely beautiful and you can completely forget that you're in a major city. Lovely walks through various gardens, buildings and water features.
