We rented bikes and pretty much had the place to ourselves. The stops along the way where nice but there were only hand written signs along the paths and most of the writing had been washed off. More directional signage would be nice too along...More

We camped in our RV at Pandion RV Resort off Canal Road in Orange Beach. A trail led from our campground to the HSB trail and we hiked it nearly every day for the week we were there. It was quiet, cool, clean, well maintained,...More

I spent about half a day hiking on the High S. Branyon backcountry trail through Gulf State Park. The network of trails are paved or boardwalk (not really backcountry) and lead past the spring-fed lakes with access to the beach. I started on Catman Road...More

Really nice nature and wildlife. We even saw some Babygators on Rosemary Dunes. Spended six hours hiking there and did some trails like the Alligator Marsh or the Bobcat Trail. Definetly worth a visit. You can drive by bike or just walk around the whole...More

We walked on the trail and also rode bikes. The trail is well marked and not difficult to ride. It is remarkably well kept and can get very busy at times.

I hiked this Gulf State Park trail several times while in town on spring break. The trail access off of Perdido Beach Blvd was great though parking was limited. I agree with other posters that bikes can be a real problem here for people that...More

This is a nice oasis in the middle of Orange Beach. We hiked the boardwalk trail for about 3 miles on a beautiful day and saw some birds and an armadillo. My two suggestions would be more signage with maps of the trails and keep...More
