Just a beautiful and breathtaking sight to see in person. The stained glass reminds me of my childhood church and the Alter is breathtaking.

The stained glass was awesome. The underground burial vault was unique for us. Enjoyed the visit and the neighborhood was quiet .
After the cathedral visit we went to Oakleigh neighborhood and enjoyed a walk through the area. Many homes were built in the late 1800’s and are well kept.
Finished with a lunch at Felix’s Fish Camp. Don’t miss the crab soup. It made the trip special.

The Cathedral is a significant part of Mobile's history (along with the nearby Bishop Portier House) and an enduring witness to faith. Worth a quick visit for anyone interested in history, architecture, or religion.

Amazing cathedral! Never thought I would find such a beautiful church and cathedral down south. One of my favorite stained glass windows including the ones I’ve seen in France and Spain. It represents the Infant Mary being presented to the priest. Her expression of sublime admiration is so incredible she looks like she is in a state of ecstacy. The level of admiration is only possible when one practices the height of purity and humility 🙏🙏
