We were looking for something different, just happened across Spot of Tea Segway tours. As it turned out it was a great choice, what a hoot. We are retired and 65+, with some great instruction we mastered the Segway's is just a few minutes. Then we met our guide, TG Cadocious, this young man was very entertaining, knowledgeable and made the tour fun. He made sure we had a good safe time. We did the VIP tour which included lunch, the meal was excellent as was the service. If you can check it out, well worth it.

We were originally disappointed when we arrived and learned there were no tour guides scheduled for the day - make sure you call 1 to 2 days in advance! However, the restaurant owner personally gave us a Segway tour to ensure we had a great experience. He was so kind and informative! It was a great experience. We also stayed for brunch and had the same excellent service. Absolutely recommend this place for their kind, hardworking staff, great food, and commitment to happy customers.

Spot of tea was a classy little shop with a very pleasant atmosphere--the perfect spot to dine for breakfast on a morning date downtown. The staff was very efficient, knowledgeable, happy, and friendly. My boyfriend and I were thrilled at the "delectable dessert teas" they offered which tasted AMAZING and just like the flavor advertised. Really the perfect addition to a special breakfast! Even if someone didn't like tea, I think they'd still enjoy them--they're that good. They have a spot of tea for two option on the menu where they keep refilling your tea pot for you as many times as you want.
I cannot recommend the cathedral eggs dish enough. The idea of mixing seafood with eggs makes the breakfast feel so fancy and in-tune with what the city has to offer. It's truly perfect for someone visiting downtown in the port city! There is a lovely view from the window front of the cathedral and the park. I really appreciated how there wasn't loud music playing inside, and the atmosphere was very relaxing and calming, as if you're on your own little getaway. I highly recommend stopping in if you're on vacation or even a local to the city of Mobile like myself. Five stars!!

The Spot of Tea is an awesome place to eat and have events. I had my daughters and son in laws baby shower in September and Ashley was our server. She rocks. Also took my better half this Saturday and we had Ashley again. She remember me from the shower. Of course I let her know our grandson was born early and had to show off his pictures. The employees are always happy here. Highly recommend this place. Tammy R.

Mobile is a Southern gem with its unique heritage and traditions. Finally, this proud city can share its past and present with
tourists and locals alike via the Spot of Tea Segway Tour.
I must admit that I'm somewhat of a Segway tour junkie. Having said that, my wife and I both agreed that this was the best of them all. Their equipment was in top-notch condition and the guides were accommodating and knowledgeable.
Their tour was also the first we experienced to use audio technology as an enhancement. They provide headsets with pre-recorded segments of select historical spots. Even more valuable was the capability of our tour guide, Credocius,
to communicate with everyone in real time without having to shout above the noise of local traffic. He added a lot of humor and personality to the route.
Being an amateur historian of Mobile, I learned so many new facts about its history and some of the colorful characters of the past. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed this tour and highly recommend it for anyone visiting Mobile.

We were a little skeptical that 40 something's would be able to ride but we did just fine. We had a 11 year old with us that took right off. The owners and all of the staff that we had contact with were excellent. The 2 hours flew by as we toured beautiful and unique Mobile.

Segway tours are the best way to explore a new city. We selected the VIP Tour which included breakfast before or lunch after the tour at the Spot of Tea. Our guide “Chis” had us sign the usual waivers and supplied us with helmets and audio receivers. Since we are veteran Segway riders, Chris did not have to train us and once he observed us and was convinced of our competence, we started the tour. At certain stops, Chris played a prepared auto program that worked real well. We spent 2 hours going all over Mobile and although we are veteran riders, Chris went out of this way to point out possible hazards on the roadways and sidewalks. He was VERY safety conscious. A highly recommended tour!
