Nicole gave us a wonderful overview of Mobile while touring on their new and modern Segway equipment. Having a wireless headset for each person made for great communications. Highly recommend this tour!

We came around Mardi Gras and it was a blast and well worth the money. However I don't think it would be worth the money if it wasn't for our gracious host Nicole. She was very knowledgeable of the Segway and made me feel very comfortable, being that I'd never been on one before. Three minutes later I was up and running like it was second nature. Thanks Nicole for being a great teacher. It didn't stop there. After the wonderful experience of getting comfy on my Segway we were off with recordings of information in our ears of all the different various and interesting historic land marks around Downtown Mobile it was fantastic and again Nicole was very impressive and knowledgeable about the tour as well. I recommend the $80 tour that includes breakfast or lunch at Spot of Tea or you can skip breakfast or lunch and do the tour for $60. MAKE SURE YOU REQUST NICOLE!

Jamie, I'm happy to hear that Nicole helped you feel comfortable on the Segway, especially since this was your first time! I love hearing that you enjoyed learning about Downtown Mobile and thought Nicole did a good job on the tour -- I'll be sure to tell her what you said. It's excellent that you plan to be back our way, and we look forward to seeing you again!
Best wishes,

This is a great experience for all ages! The guided tour through old town Mobile was well constructed. Nicole was a very knowledgeable tour guide. We had lots of fun during our three hours, especially when our weather was near perfect. Lunch at the Spot of Tea after the ride topped off a wonderful experience.

The tour guide was very knowledgeable about downtown Mobile's historic sites, and she gave a great tour. She also gave this first-time Segway operator wonderful instructions. She was super fun and easy going. I highly recommend giving this tour a try. You get to see so much of this beautiful city without the tiring walk or the confinement of a bus. I loved it!

Emily, it's absolutely wonderful to see how much you loved your tour with us! We really have been so excited to roll out this program (if you'll excuse the pun), so we couldn't be happier to know that it's going over so well!

Spot of tea was a classy little shop with a very pleasant atmosphere--the perfect spot to dine for breakfast on a morning date downtown. The staff was very efficient, knowledgeable, happy, and friendly. My boyfriend and I were thrilled at the "delectable dessert teas" they offered which tasted AMAZING and just like the flavor advertised. Really the perfect addition to a special breakfast! Even if someone didn't like tea, I think they'd still enjoy them--they're that good. They have a spot of tea for two option on the menu where they keep refilling your tea pot for you as many times as you want.
I cannot recommend the cathedral eggs dish enough. The idea of mixing seafood with eggs makes the breakfast feel so fancy and in-tune with what the city has to offer. It's truly perfect for someone visiting downtown in the port city! There is a lovely view from the window front of the cathedral and the park. I really appreciated how there wasn't loud music playing inside, and the atmosphere was very relaxing and calming, as if you're on your own little getaway. I highly recommend stopping in if you're on vacation or even a local to the city of Mobile like myself. Five stars!!

We were a little skeptical that 40 something's would be able to ride but we did just fine. We had a 11 year old with us that took right off. The owners and all of the staff that we had contact with were excellent. The 2 hours flew by as we toured beautiful and unique Mobile.

Segway tours are the best way to explore a new city. We selected the VIP Tour which included breakfast before or lunch after the tour at the Spot of Tea. Our guide “Chis” had us sign the usual waivers and supplied us with helmets and audio receivers. Since we are veteran Segway riders, Chris did not have to train us and once he observed us and was convinced of our competence, we started the tour. At certain stops, Chris played a prepared auto program that worked real well. We spent 2 hours going all over Mobile and although we are veteran riders, Chris went out of this way to point out possible hazards on the roadways and sidewalks. He was VERY safety conscious. A highly recommended tour!

From the time we arrived at Spot of Tea for our Segway tour to when we left after lunch, we were treated extraordinarily well by the staff. Our tour guide, Shar, was kind, patient and very well-informed about the history of Mobile. We started out in the parking lot behind Spot of Tea and got our bearings on the Segways. My husband, my 20-year-old son and I set off, with Shar, down Mobile's streets and sidewalks, using a combination of both to traverse the city. The VIP Segway tour includes a headset and sometimes it is prerecorded voice telling you the story of Mobile and sometimes it is Shar. Did you know Teddy Roosevelt spoke at the bandstand on Bienville Square? Our tour was shortened somewhat by rain (it was already a cold day), we stopped the Segways, got the ponchos provided by Spot of Tea and went back to the restaurant. The remainder of our time was spent inside the restaurant, enjoying Strawberry Tea and their many delicious entrees. I got the Eggs Cathedral that are served over a crab cake with a yummy sauce, my son got the seafood bisque and my husband opted for the roast beef and swiss sandwich. The food hit the spot and we really enjoyed the entire experience. We have already promised to bring our daughter for a Segway adventure when she visits in January. Make this a definite stop on your tour of LA.

This was our first time on a Segway and it was a blast! Much easier and way more fun than we imagined. Chris, our guide, was fantastic. He was patient, knowledgeable, interesting, fun and funny. Great time. Then, after our tour, we had brunch at Spot of Tea (included) and it was delicious. Separately these are both great, combined they make for a fantastic day. We'd do it again in a heartbeat.
