The river is very clean but the smell isn't. I don't know why it has that smell. You can see colorful walls and peaceful river.

Nice walking strolling by the river bank from my hotel to and fro to The Shore and Cruise station. Nice view especially at night . The river was calm and clean . Recommended to cruise the river at night .

If possible, do the night cruise: cooler, beautiful lights enhance the sights along the river from the murals on buildings to the well placed lights on the roofs of houses in Kg Morten.

The meandering river gives Melaka a wonderful and sometimes playful look The walkways and cafes and historic sites border the river too. Simply beautiful!

Not recommended stay near river due to noisy at nite from crowd choose close to convinience especially cafe and food stall to ease our needs at all time
