At first you would think that a "medical museum" would be quite boring. Quite the opposite. This place is fascinating. The original first hospital in Baldwin County. The technology from 80 years ago was quite frightening, but I suppose when that's all you have, you...More

Lot's of very old medical equipment to see, From waiting room to old records. You can spent a couple of hours just looking on your own, Not a guided tour and it is free.

This place is so interesting. It is an old hospital with equipment, rooms and offices as they were when it was a working hospital. Free admission so it’s definitely worth the price.

Such a comprehensive collection of medical equipment, diagnostic tools, and information about medical exams and procedures many years ago. This is one of the best small museums that I have seen with this kind of display.

As a paramedic who works in a hospital emergency room, I really enjoyed this museum. The historical information, antiquated medical equipment, and tour of the hospital was interesting. Even with the medical community's technological advancement of equipment and procedures, some things have not changed. Many...More

Quick visit with interesting old equipment and our volunteer docent was well informed. It's close to the drugstore with a cool old fashioned lunch counter.
