It was cool to see. There isn't much to it but that is a fun little stop when you are in the area. There are no signs to get you there. You won't need more than 15 minutes.

I had no idea these replicas of Stonehenge, dinosaurs, giant spiders etc were on the road to the Marina. We were biking with friends and had to stop to check them all out. What a surprise! Such a joy, and it was free too! Don't...More

Amazingly accurate partial duplication of the genuine Stonehenge! Can glimpse from riad, so walk is short & easy. Really enjoyed it. We were told there were also there 'dinosaurs ' in area, created by same artist--one was obvious, second in down road, but we didn't...More

FREE. This would be good for kids or something to break up a vacation to the beaches. Some will find it corny. It does not take long. You will have to look carefully in the woods just off the road for some of the items.

I would not make a special trip put of the way for this, but if you are in the area it is free. The dinosaurs were more fun to find!

I really enjoyed the ride out to Bamahenge and looking at the figures. Please put signs on the road for Bamahenge and repaint the dinosaurs and maybe put sign out to tell what type of dinosaurs they are. This is such a nice area I...More

We made a trip to Elberta to go to the RoadKill Care with a group of extended family, and one of the group recommended while we were there to see Stonehenge. We drove out to the Barber Marina to view Bamahenge, nestled back in the...More

I wouldn't have believed it if I hadn't seen it for myself!!! There are dinos in the woods as you drive back to Barber Marina. Yes, we passed the Stonehenge replica on the way in but we were not disappointed by what we found. A...More

Well off the beaten path sits a little roadside attraction called Bamahenge. What is it? Well, it's a replica of Stonehenge, made out of fiberglass, located in lower Alabama. It's built to scale. You can get out and walk around it. There's not a sign,...More
