You can find all kind of stuff- household items, clothes, shoes, street food name it. This is the place to look for Shantiniketan leather bags and purses. An interesting spot to spend your day with locals and practise your bargaining skill.

No, mostly not. You may find some parts open. Pavement hawkers do business otherwise those 4 days u may not find it fully operational.

Yes the Oberoi Grand but the price varies. Kindly call their reservations or check the website. They have a large pool and are bang opposite new market.
