Functional and economical mode of transportation, although it is very crowded. Compared to Chennai Metro it would appear dirtier, but that's okay as Chennai metro is still in its infancy and as such more modern.

The metro is very convenient and not expensive at all (prices from 5rupees to 10-20rupees). We can only wish that they will build the red line as promised a long time ago!
