Zong Dog Palri Fo Brang Monastery is a nice Monastery in Kalimpong near Army Cantonment. The top view of the town Kalimpong is excellent from here. I had visited this place more than one times with my family.

This monastery has been listed under Darjeeling instead of Kalimpong which may prove confusing. It is definitely in Kalimpong and stands on Durpin Hill which gives it the alternative name of Durpin Monastery. It's not a particularly old monastery, opened by the Dalai Lama back...More
