An ancient temple believed to be built in10th century by Chola kings is a marvelous identity of Indian architecture. The temple looks a little different without a usual Kupuram at the entrance. Must visit for architecture lovers!!!

A 800 year old temple frequented by locals, the temple hold its charm for the sincerity exuded by its devotees. Do visit on Sunday evening by 4.30 PM to participate in the Sarabeswarar Rahu kala puja quite popular in this temple.

The temple (approx 900 yrs old) is surrounded by houses and from the main road it doesnt seem that such a big temple can be there. You can purchase a lamp to be lit inside the premises of the temple (not inside the main shrine)....More

This is one of the very oldest temple which is constructed during the chola king period. Every sunday sarabeswarar pooja will be performed during rahu kalam time which is 4.30pm to 6pm. Lord shiva is swayambu.

Dhenupureeswarar temple is one of the oldest sivan temple with in madambakam . Every Sunday the bairavar pooja is famous in that temple.

If you had already visited other temple then no need to go to this temple. This is small temple. I went for 2 hour and came back. This is peaceful place.
