the taste & service levels have gone down by several notches...staff is too laid back to even listen to your requests...ambiance also doesn't help changing your perception about the place...one needs to be extremely specific while placing the order...if you miss out, expect something else on your plate...

Doveton House was built by an architect Benjamin Roebeck in the year 1798. This house was named after Lieutenant General John Doveton. This place once served as a prison where victims were kept under the vigilance of British officers. Now this place serves as administrative office of the Women’s Christian College. One should visit the place to see the architectural work of the building.

Doveton House, now the main building of Women's Christian College has a history. On College Road, this was a building associated with two ‘exiles' of sorts. In the first instance, Tippu Sultan's sons had a connection with it, in the second it held the Gaekwad of Baroda.
Good place to visit if you have time, if short of time, give this place a miss.
