The temple area is peaceful and the architecture is very old. It is beautifully carved and still in very good condition. Take a guide, he will explain you the meaning of the various images carved on the rocks. I found it much interesting that way....More

This place does not fall under the usual tourist places in and around Mysore. It's around 13 km from the city. You may have to arrange the visit separately. But if you have an affinity towards historical places then it's a must visit!
