This art gallery is in a pretty neglected condition. There are very valuable and precious art objects but the building and the gallery need thorough repair and refurbishment. One part of the building was under repair, so we could not see the famous sun-dial but...More

The place has works by brilliant artists particularly the Glow of Hope. It has some amazing works depicting nature, emotions, love, royal family portraits, n more in water color, oils etc. Very inspirational place and also some interesting historic paintings and artefacts. But could use...More

We were taken here by our guide we had for the day. This place is government run and so sad. It has the Maharajas cast off art! Beautiful paintings in damp conditions. Worth a visit if you have a few days in Mysore.

Some unseen paintings and artwork is stored here but it is a real shame how badly they have been maintained and taken care of.

You can find this place just opp City Bus Stand. Rs 20 per person for Adults. You can get a a peek into the world of royals here
