Mysore Maharaja's palace is a grand beautiful place which has very nice paintings from the pre-independence era. The grand hall is amazing with huge pillars and glass ceiling.

The aesthetics of the Palace are outstanding, especially if you are a fan of the Art Nouveau style. In addition, the many painted murals are just exceptional, down to the very small details. A most pleasurable visit!
