The old fort is in ruins and there is a replica of what it used to be. The place is vast and there is no one in charge of its maintenance. There is just a guy to collect the entry fee and he hardly knows...More

The city is on the way from Bengaluru to Mysore and is must visit. There are stories of Tipu Sultan and his battles, with the place of dead body found and his summer palace.

Crowded place but a good visit if you r religious... Serpentine queues to get in bt once u reach the inner sanctity...all hassles forgotten

Translated as city of lord ranga.. Very famous for wooden dolls.. Wooden articles.. Cook ware.. Has a market of fruits and vegetables which are very good quality

Srirangpatnam...Related to Tiger of karnataka Tipu Sultan ,Historical place. Tipu's summer palace ,Ghumbas ,Sangam and Mandir r popular place to see.

One of the best Vishnu temple I have visited. Even though kind of not well maintained by ASI, temple was really big and idol was very big sleeping vishnu. I would recommend to visit this temple.
