Shimla is fully covered with hills and in contrast to the surroundings, Annadale ground is the biggest flat surface in Shimla district. The view is amazing. Currently the ground is under Indian Army which has really helped in keeping the place clean and peaceful.

Check for the conditions of roads before you go as there are frequent landslides in this area because of 4 laning of roads. Better wait for monsoons to settle.
