I particularly liked the many photos from talks that took place around independence and the partition of India and Pakistan. Fascinating to see photos of all the key players!

The place is almost overwhelming as the height of the stately old trees reaches and exceeds the British building and is austere inside and outside, surrounded by an impalpable mist that makes the visit worth in a surreal environment similar to that of a stray...More

Such a shame we couldn’t see all of the inside and how it used to look in the past. There were some lovely photos but the building is in use as a college so access is limited. However the gardens and location are stunning !!

Had tour of this historic building. Amazing that the whole of India was for a time ruled from this replica Scottish hunting lodge. Not many rooms are open, but it's well worth the experience. Sadly no photographs allowed.

We were part of a local tourist group visiting this historic building. The guide spoke to the locals, and then took the time to discuss the history of the buildings in English with us. Thanks.
