Visited Akshardham Temple on Sunday 10 Jan 21. It was sunny cold day and the feeling was divine. We were not sure of the visit timings and even though after googling could not draw proper conclusion. So reached here much earlier. 1. For covid reasons, the new entry times are between 5PM to 6.30PM and temple is open on all days except Monday. 2. Akshardham Metro station on Blue line is walk-able from temple entry gate and the best way to reach here. 3. We reached here much earlier but the queue was formed at the gate around 4PM and gates were opened for the formalities like temperature scanning, baggage checks and locker deposits. From the main gate to the premises is about 100m. Wheelchairs are available for the needy. There is huge Parking space for cars. There is no entry charge for the temple.. 4. Mobiles, bags are to be deposited in the free locker and token is given. Wallets, Water bottle including steel water bottles are allowed. The lockers are very well and professionally managed. On return you must check the token number and stand in the queue according to the number. 5. Exhibition is closed but water show is open. 1st show starts at 6.15 and next at 7.15PM. Ticket must be taken for the same inside the temple premises. 6. The temple is simply wonderful. Absolutely clean. Calm. 7. There are facilities like ATM, Toilets, Cafeterias inside. All kind of Food, snacks are available here and the charges are normal. Hygiene is properly maintained. 8. We witnessed the water show at 6.15PM and its awesome. But it becomes very cold out here during this time. Also Watch for social distancing while making an exit. Spent overall about 3 hours here and would recommend the visit to Akshardham for all age groups.…

Visit the grand stupa the temple garbh graha and take blessings of Swamiji. To complete the whole tour of this place you need 3 - 4 hours.
