This place is primarily meant for college goers, careful spenders and cheap thrill seekers. You won't have issues with parking but it's always better if you are using a cab.

Yes... It's open on 15th August. There may be someone serious security but Hauz khas open on 15th August.

Opening timings for hauz khas village. The Hauz Khas Village complex is open from Monday to Saturday between 10:30 AM and 7:00 PM and remains closed on Sundays. However, the restaurants remain open daily till mid night

I think plan on spending at least 3 hours there. If you are going out to a restaurant you may stay longer than that. It's a great place to walk around. Very lively scene!
