Situated at walking distance from Patel Chowk, this museum is gem of a place for stamp collectors/lovers. Well maintained with huge collection of post independence era. Though the collection hasn’t been updated after 2014. Entry is free.

The museum seems to have loads of stamps from the same era while few decades are completely missed/ignored. It is still a nice way to get to know the history better.

I attended the museum today and was disappointed to find out that it only covers post independence stamps. If you love some older stamps like those of Indian princely states or early British India ones, do not waste your time here - these philatelic gems...More

National Philatelic Museum is one of the Delhi's landmarks.Vast collection dating back to 1947 and has the collections from India's culture,art,history,personalities,icons,institutions,freedom fighters, medicine and sports.I am sure you will like it.
