Buy your tickets here, as they will be checked several times while you visit all the ruins. Current price is $25 (at a current exchange rate in rupees) for foreigners.

Tickets to visit Pollonaruwa are sold here. This museum is interesting to get a quick overview of what you're about to see. Also some beautiful Hindu statues. There are very detailed explanations about each ruin, we skipped over those though.
