But very interesting Buddhist temple with the tallest walking Buddha statue. Lots of sculptures (modern day) with stories. Little information and guidance. Involves lot of climb through almost deserted areas. Not recommended for solo traveller. The staff are friendly but not much helpful.

This place is very close to Kandy and is attractive for its huge standing Buddha statue. There is a small circuit along the hill with different scenes telling the history of Buddha`s life. A nice small walk. Entrance is 300 rupee.
