The Royal Palace is located in the grounds of the Temple of the Tooth. It is worth viewing and easily missed in the large grounds of the temple.

The royal palace is situated in the same campus as that of the Temple of the tooth. The entire campus is vast and you can get tired walking around. The Buddhist Museum is also located in the same premises. The structure is imposing and huge.Entrance...More

This is a simple royal palace but it is nice and easy to walk around. We did particularly loved the small upstairs museum with ornaments and artifcts.

Our guide and chauffeur (Shelton Madawala) was very kind to show this entire temple complex and narrate the story. The place takes 1-2 hrs to visit.

It is SLR1,500 for the Palace and the Temple of Sacred Tooth Relics in one
