Anyone who is visiting Sri Lanka during August 2018, it is highly recommended to attend this spectacular event. It lasts more than week with many parades (perehara) which includes so many different cultural performances.

To have a good view and stay comfortable you'll have to buy a viewing gallery ticket, the best place is Queens hotel. There are some other places as well, have a good one
