The first monument in the Capital dedicated to Prince and King Nikola I Petrovic Njegos, the seventh and last state ruler from Montenegrin dynasty Petrovic-Njegos. It was erected in 2005, on occasion of celebrating the Day of Liberation of Podgorica in WWII, and it is located on a plateau across the road from the Parliament of Montenegro.

Located within King Nicola I Park, surely you wont miss it if you are nearby this area. It is within walking distance to a number of attractions nearby.

The park that this statue is in is pretty neat, I was in that looking for the old bridge and stumbled across the statue.

Interesting if you're into history or monuments but it is just another monument otherwise. It is in the city centre area so it is easy enough to see if you're in the area

We stumbled across this walking from the clock tower to the fortress. We took a picture and knew some history from locals we had been speaking to. This king was the last king of Podgorica and if your near it's worth visiting
