I just learned that most of the Sagada population is Anglican. This is the only church I saw in Sagada. The surrounding area is well maintained as well. Very peaceful and has a nice view.

Lovely, small church near the Echo Valley. The building is made of stone, and the altar had some nice wooden carvings.
Very serene and nice gardens and trees surrounding it.
I could hear the church bells ring in the morning all the way to the hotel.

In our trip down to the Bomod-ok Falls (big) we saw men with some pulley contraption. Turns out they were doing some mining. It was some type of jeep that they utilized the axle as the main pulley.

At the side of the church, there is wheel that has placed there. I just happened to overhear a local that was giving some kind of talk about it. My friends were already inside the church so my gf and I were the only ones in the group who got to hear about the wheel.

The wheel has a historical role in the church and the community. Knowing about the wheel's role will add to your sagada trip and knowledge.

Nobody goes to Sagada without visiting the Church which has been there for a century. The grounds are perfect for photos, they have services every morning. Perfect for weddings too.

This non-catholic church is still the center of Sagada. This is where locals of Sagada attend mass on Sundays. The bus terminal, cooperative market, basketball court is within the small area.

One of the oldest church bell is one of its attraction, but it is now enclosed in a metal fence. I had a photo taken two decades ago in that same church bell when it was still open. I guess vandals prompted the locals to enclose it in a fence.

One of my old favorite St Joseph’s Inn is right in front of this church

good, quiet place to reflect and thank the Lord for all His blessings and ask that you be spared from unbelievers.
