The river had a bit of a milky edge to it. Like many such water sources, it is the lifeline of nearby rice terraces. It twists and turns, a steady companion on the road from Sagada to Bontoc.

Amazing views with lush greens along the river banks. It was good timing it because rainy season was about to end. We had a few stops along the way just to see the views

I once swam in this river near a bridge connecting Samoki and the town proper. Too cold. And be careful, the torrents are too strong for swimming, but the experience is good.

Coordinate with the DOT Office in Tabuk Kalinga about this activity. Exciting and fun ride from the upstream area in Bontoc and Tinglayan down to Tabuk City area as the final destination.
