The river had a bit of a milky edge to it. Like many such water sources, it is the lifeline of nearby rice terraces. It twists and turns, a steady companion on the road from Sagada to Bontoc.

I once swam in this river near a bridge connecting Samoki and the town proper. Too cold. And be careful, the torrents are too strong for swimming, but the experience is good.

Coordinate with the DOT Office in Tabuk Kalinga about this activity. Exciting and fun ride from the upstream area in Bontoc and Tinglayan down to Tabuk City area as the final destination.

We were on our way about 15km going to Sagada. The view going up to Sagada is Amazing, from here you can see the famous Chico River.
