Pastoruri glacier is absolutely stunning - With 20 metres high walls of ice . It's an easy walk of about 2 kilometres and takes about 40 minutes one way. Would recommend you don't miss this!

Its sad to see the posters on site of how this place was decades ago. The glacier is retreating fast and there is little left. The walk up is not technically difficult, but with the high altitude more so. Choose a slow steady pace.

Amazing trip! It’s a bit difficult because of the height but if you are walking slowly it should be fine. And don’t forget warm clothes since it’s really windy. It’s sad to see how the glacier gets smaller every year :(
