We took a half day trip to Asilah from Tangier. It was a great outing. We took a hired car with driver from the Hilton Hotel in Tangier. Asilah is a very quaint sea side town. We enjoyed walking around the clean and small Medina.

We've enjoyed Asilah Medina better than the one in Fez. We got a nice feeling walking the streets of the Medina, it was cleaner than Fez, and the colors arr brighter.

It’s not very big so you won’t get lost. It feels safe, clean and laid-back, and has a couple of nice murals to look at.

Visiting Asilah always brings a big smile to my heart. The ongoing, everchanging old medina, colored with love for shapes, shadows and artistic movement bring people together. My daughter interacts with each peace as she becomes apart of it! Come for a day tour or...More
