first of all, the entance is free, and the location is very easy to find. From the highest port, you can see the ocean, a very nice view. Just like A Famosa Malacca, but smaller, with simple bricks and surely very historical. And we got...More

The Remnants of The original Fort are there, to see, but Recent Renovations and Modernisation, detract from its Historical Significance. This has both benefits and disadvantages (Just like Woden Horse at Troy in Turkey) Other relatively nearby places where a Gide may take you are...More

The place is just a small fort but it is ok to visit if you are in Pangkor. The place is not crowded and well kept.

A 17th century built Dutch Fort with beautiful landscape to visit and within a walking distance to the new floating and stunning beautiful mosque nearby.

Probably Pangkor's only historical site, and significant in terms of colonial history, but there's not a lot to see really. Be sure to continue through the village for a few minutes and visit the very attractive floating mosque.

It is a small attraction, just spend half an hour at here is more than enough. Very less food hawker is around.

It is small part of left over of the dutch fort. Nothing much to shout out. There is small decoration man made recently and some batik shops next to the fort.

here actually no much to see... only a ruin fortress that was leftover.... may need to spend less than an hour at this spot and check out the old fortress only....

This place is good to stop by for few minutes when you are travelling around the Pangkor island (e.g.on motorbike). The fortress itself is not a real fortress anymore, just a preserved small ruin with nicely maintained surrounding. which is situated not directly at the...More
