interesting to see as well as the stone chairs. surrounded by souvenirs shops. we went their by foot, by a nice small trek through the rice fields/the hills from tuktuk

A great trip to Samosir island to listen to the historical journey of the kings and to witness the sacrificial tombs, their houses as well as the overall island. Very informative and interesting. Great place to visit if you visit Lake Toba

this is your typical scarify stone..the dance they do is good and you have to learn.. some enjoyed but not my stile. easy to get to .

It was definitely smaller than we expected, but why not, since you're there anyway. We just learned a bit of the Batak King's history and walked through the shopping area. It was pleasant, but not wow.

Just a small mausoleum area where Batak royalties are being buried. Hiring a local tour guide will be helpful.

The tomb is at ambarita around 15 min drive from tuk tuk. Along with tomb there are batak houses too which u can see from inside. Also sovunier ships around the place and also option to dress in batak costume.

It is a unique experince at the King Sidabutar's Tomb. You can learn Batak culture. You can see the history. You can also shop some souveniers. Very recommended.
