The Tikus temple ruins are very nicely landscaped, and it's really neat to be able to climb down the stairs to near the actual pool itself. I had a relaxing and peaceful time here, and would recommend these ruins to others.

After the museum we stopped at Candi Tikus, a nice but small Majapahit royal bathhouse of terracotta dated to the 13th or 14th century. The temple is located in a beautiful little garden / park. During our stay, our teenage daughter was heartily greeted by...More

Being a historical traveller, I am astonished with this complex structure during those days. The Candi Tikus appeared on Indonesian TV channel Trans 7 , "Dua Dunia" as one of the place with paranormal activities.

Once used as a place for performing ritual cleansing/bathing before entering a long destroyed temple complex, the sunken pools with center structure are still stunning. Discovered by the Dutch it's name is a reference to the Titus (rats) that had over run the site. Still...More

There was only few visitors when I visited this temple. In my opinion, this place is more interesting compare to stonehenge. Lol. However, by its size, it's waaaay smaller than Borobudur or Prambanan
