I also posted this on the page for Cuc Phuong National Park, but since there are more reviews on this page, I cross-posted. Cuc Phuong National Park is a perfect place to really get off the beaten track. We went mid-week in January and practically...More

We went by car with a guide from Ninh Binh but didn't feel it was a worthwhile trip. We went to the cave of prehistoric man which is reached up steep steps. The primate shelter and turtle centre were pretty quick and basic. The trek...More

This national park was definitely worth a visit. We enjoyed walking around and visiting the monkey sanctuary and the turtle rescue place. A trek to the cave was quite challenging but we made it!

Was fantastic to see the rescued animals and learn about the National Park, definitely a day well spent. Our tour guide spoke excellent English and was knowledgeable in all aspects of the park, the experience would not have been the same without her. I'd recommend...More

To visit this national park, we need to move to southward, it is near Trang An world heritage site in Ninh Binh province. It is better to get 2 day 1 night inside this park to enjoy fresh air and wildlife here.

Be careful with the staff at the entrance - when we first arrived a lady said bikes cost 125 per day but the next day we returned another said 60. Hmmmm. Unfortunately you don't have a lot of personal freedom in this park (like everywhere...More

A fantastic escape from the concrete jungle that is Hanoi. Felt like I was in Jurassic Park with the huge trees and worse-for-wear structures. It was a misty and drizzly day when we visited but that just added to the magic and atmosphere.

Nice Experience for us. The weather is warm and sunny so walking in the jungle is really wonderful. Love it!

We had a lovely walk in the forest, unfortunately we didn't see any animals except spiders and bugs. We were almost alone and had some moments when it was real quiet, but even then we didn't see anything. But still worth it going there, really...More

Charming boat trip enjoying the surrounding landscape. Worth to go on a day trip from Hanoi. It takes only 1.5 hours by car from Hanoi on a motorway like road.
