It was the most important attraction in Bukhara. Although it has more than 1400 years of history, buildings were still well maintained and in use nowadays. Besides, it could be very amazing in the early morning late evening for people to see the sun rise...More

The tree grown in the middle of its courtyard and the Minaret of Kaylan just outside its perimeter are only two of the singular details related to this old mosque. Enjoy Your sunset here and remember all the shades You'll be able to get.

The whole complex is fascinating from intricate tiling to the plain white arcades inside the building - the architect's vision of the play of light and shade was, for me, the most memorable part!

This is a very unique and beautiful mosque. The columns inside are so stunning. Better to go in the afternoon when there are less visitors for photo-taking.

This is the most impressive plaza in the city, almost as stunning as Samarkand. There’s a lot of history to this place, but you’ll need a guide to tell you everything.

One of the key attractions along the Uzbek section of the Silk Routes. Close to the city centre, so take a look at dusk when the light is great.

This mosque is well utilized. The inner facade is so beautiful and like all other monuments in Bokhara, spotlessly maintained. There is great pride amongst the people to look after these ancient buildings. Each of the rooms inside the vast enclave is used by a...More
