From the pictures one cannot get a precise idea of the size, but this building is rather small. It is not significant in architecture but it is cute to see.

THis is another amazing building, with 4 minarets, it does cost 80 cents Aus to climb to the top, but well worth the minor price Very well maintained and restored

Compared to the majestic structures in the centre of Bukhara this mosque is small and simple yet it is very elegant and beautiful in its simplicity. You won't need long to visit but it is worth it. The souvenir shop inside the building is very...More

Since one can only take pictures from outside and there is nothing of interest inside. Only ten minutes are required to visit this site.

A unique structure in Bukhara is the Chor Minor and it certainly stands out! Very different from most others in Bukhara and Uzbekistan, inside is like most places now selling tourist souvenirs but see the dome and pay the small fee to go up to...More

Not all that large, but a unique building in a quiet residential area. It is not a functioning mosque any more, it is now a souvenir shop inside, but the outside is unchanged, and is very photogenic.

Even though it’s rated one of the must visit site here in Bukhara I was not sure why. I learned that Chor Minor, the four pillars, was a formal university where teaching of Koran was taught, one side for classrooms and one wing for prayers.
