This is one of many such churches in Ukraine. It's worth a visit if you've come here, but not all that special.

Spent a very short duration in this cathedral, during lunch time. The history around it, the architecture and the beautifully decorated altar all makes one to stop thinking, switch off phones and all forms of gadgets that are thought distractors and sink into the environment. The place gave me a sense of coming back to that basic need of spiritual alignment.. which is such an integral part for homosapiens who are always distracted by material needs. I am not a christian, you need not be one to have this feeling there. It just says about the positive vibes of the location, the belief of the people praying around you. Nice experience.

I walked in twice today, both times during private celebrations of some kind. I could see neon lights around some of the stuff on the front altar area.

An old church in good condition near the town center. The interior is in a traditional Russian Orthodox style. Lots of traditional works on the walls and gold decorations.

The church is well-preserved example of local building and ecclesiastic traditions. You must find the guide if you like to have more than just short look
